A war has been raging for years in our society regarding homosexuality in all of its forms. We are assured by apologists that it is normal, that people are born that way.
Let’s assume for the sake of argument that this is so. People are born homosexual. Consider, in terms of evolutionary biology, what this means.
The basic tenet of evolutionary biology is natural selection, the so-called survival of the fittest. The only genetic mutations that are supposed to survive are those that contribute to the propagation and survival of the human species. Homosexuality in all of its forms does neither. The lack of desire for the opposite sex goes directly against both the propagation and survival of the human species. Without some form of outside intervention, homosexuals cannot reproduce on their own; it is a physical impossibility.
No, if it’s about the science, natural selection and survival of the fittest, then only one conclusion is possible: nature has selected the genetic lines of homosexuals to be culled from the human herd, for elimination from the gene pool.
So if your argument is that homosexuality in all its forms is scientifically based, you might want to rethink that argument.
